Hamilton joined the family business Ashworths of Bury before acquiring Raymar Products Ltd in 1989. Throughout his working career Hamilton has been closely involved with property and developed a small investment portfolio consisting of residential, commercial and agricultural assets.
The concept of Electricity Compensation Bureau evolved as result of discussions with an electricity company who wished to acquire rights over agricultural land within Hamilton’s portfolio.
During the course of these negotiations it became very apparent to Hamilton that property owners were unaware of their rights and the levels of compensation they were entitled to. As a direct consequence, Hamilton identified the opportunity to develop a business providing a service to property owners guiding them through the whole compensation process.
The business has seen rapid growth with strong partnerships formed with many clients and referrals have been an important part of our success. Hamilton and his team run the business on a day to day basis and retain the services of Stephen Cheshire at Jackson-Stops & Staff.
